- Worked as a part-time Graduate Assistant teaching and conducting workshops on various subjects for undergraduate and graduate students at University of Illinois at Chicago; 2004-2007 - Volunteer teacher at 'Volunteer for America', teaching English and Math to new immigrants - Why I want to be a tutor: I love the learning process, first and foremost. In addition, I find teaching someone a very satisfying task to accomplish, as it involves the transfer of intangibles (i.e. knowledge) from one person to another and it makes me end up being a very content person, knowing a) I have helped someone and b) I have made someone better by sharing my knowledge with him or her.
